All the way from Allgäu in Swabia comes this welcome addition to Berlin’s nascent food truck scene. Heisser Hobel is named after the grater used to form the traditional cheesy, doughy goodness that is Spätzle, and these guys make it fresh and pile it high. In classic 1950s styling, this truck is Germany’s answer to mac’n’cheese.

Bite Club took Heisser Hobel to London in September 2013 where they won Best Overseas Trader at the European Street Food Awards.
